Shipping charges are calculated automatically after you have selected your region
or UK postcode on the cart page up to certain maximum parcel weights depending on
the destination. If your destination is not shown please email or telephone for
a quote. If the shipping defaults to £9,999 then you will need to email us for a
separate shipping quotation.
You can see the current shipping cost at any time by clicking on the drop down menu
on the cart page which will then display the shipping choices available. You will
need to select one of these before checking out. Note that you cannot checkout with
£0.00 shipping option. If this option shows in the list then that is because a product
in your basket has an over rider in place to restrict certain shipping methods (which
would otherwise be available based on weight alone) due to the size or hazard rating
of the product. Also note that the website only increments shipping costs upwards
once a shipping method has been chosen. Therefore if you remove items from your basket
you may need to re select a lower shipping method before checking out.
International orders will be sent by Royal Mail or Courier at our discretion depending
on parcel size, shape and value.
In the event that your consignment does not arrive then we will compensate you for
your loss or resend the order but only after the respective claim procedure has been
completed for the chosen carrier. These procedures can be found on the respective
carriers’ web sites. Note that although Royal Mail usually charge less for light
weight parcels, the timescale for their claims procedure is often lengthy and we
cannot compensate you or resend the order until this procedure has been completed.
Generally couriers will try to deliver a parcel up to three times before returning
it to us. It is your responsibility to make arrangements to receive the consignment
which will need signing for, and this may mean that you will need to have it shipped
to a different address from where you live such as a work address or neighbour if
you will not be in during normal working hours. If you place an order and are then
not available to receive it resulting in it being returned to us, then we will refund
to you the value of the order placed excluding the cost of both forward and return
Please note that in all cases we reserve the right to alter the shipping method chosen,
which will be regarded only as your preferred shipping method.
Goods are normally sent out within 2 -3 days of ordering, many the same or next day.
If an item is not in stock we will advise you. During the Corona Virus Lock Down
period the time from order to dispatch may become extended.
Note that ‘day’ means ‘working day - Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and
days where it is stated on our web site that we are closed’. We are not usually open
on Fridays. Where shipping times are stated, such as 1 - 2 working days for example,
this means from the day of dispatch, not the day on which the order is placed. Automatic
emails are sent at the time of dispatch providing we have your email address.
Value Added Tax is charged on all UK and EU orders unless a valid EU registration
number is provided during the online ordering process when prompted. Please note
that any such number provided will be verified. Other orders sent outside the UK
and EU may be subject to local import taxes, duties or other charges pertaining at
any such time to the respective destination country, and these are the liability
of the importer (customer).
We hold a large number of castings in stock but you may have to wait if a pattern
has to be re cast at the foundry. We will advise if this is the case.
We are a mail order/online shop and are not able to receive visitors
Illustrations, drawings, dimensions and weights issued by the company are to be regarded
as guidance only and cannot be held binding in any way. The company cannot be held
responsible in any way for errors or omissions, or faulty castings, and/or time
lost or any other costs so resulting. We will replace faulty castings free of charge
if they display a manufacturing fault, blow hole etc., but the limit of our liability
will be the replacement cost of the raw casting concerned.
The company reserves the right to alter pattern designs without notice.
Copper tube is sold with standard max/min size tolerances of 15%.
Steam fittings should be tested for correct operation in the application in which
they are to be used in accordance with normal statutory test procedures for small
steam boilers and pressure vessels. GLR Kennions Ltd will not accept any liability
for accidents caused by failure of the correct operation of any steam fittings.
You have the legal right to cancel your order within fourteen working days beginning
with the day following receipt of the goods (unless you have opened sealed goods)
by sending an email to email@example.com In addition, you must at your expense
send your cancelled order to the return address. If you wish to exercise your right
to cancel your order prior to shipping, please email as soon as possible after placing
your order and we will cancel shipment if at all possible. We will refund the price
paid as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from your notification that you
wished to cancel the order. We will only refund the cost of the goods to you, the
original shipping cost in sending the goods to you is not refundable. If you wish
to return goods then this is at your own cost unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.
Where goods supplied are damaged, incorrect or faulty we will either replace the
item or issue a full refund within 30 days of notice. We may request goods to be
returned for inspection, prior to agreeing to any refund, at your cost. If goods
are confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied we will refund any carriage
costs incurred in returning the goods .We recommend that you get a posting receipt
when you mail your return. We are not responsible for lost returns. Please allow
up to 3 weeks after a returned item is received for processing. Repeated returns
and excessive damage to product may or may not be credited or replaced. We will notify
you via e-mail of your refund. Please note that the returns policy only applies to
new goods. We do not operate a returns policy for second hand goods. Please send
